AS50

The Trivec AS50 A is a compact and user-friendly rinse water system for tool cleaning and environmentally friendly processing of rinse water. The system is suitable for workshops working with water-based products such as paint, varnish, glue and ink.

The AS50 A easily separates rinse water into clear water and sludge, effectively filtering paint residue from the water. This way, you work environmentally consciously and control the rinse water process directly at your own workplace. Optional accessories, such as a roller cleaner or brush cleaner, make it possible to clean tools quickly and thoroughly, resulting in reduced material consumption and time savings.

Clean sewer

Cleaning brushes, rollers and other tools releases rinse water containing paint and varnish residue. These residues do not belong untreated in the sewer system.
With the AS50 A rinse water system, paint residues are removed from the rinse water before it is discharged or reused. This prevents unnecessary strain on the sewer system and keeps the workshop clean and orderly.

Avoid fines

Disposal of contaminated rinse water can lead to problems with inspections and enforcement. With the AS50 A, you process rinse water in a controlled manner, separating paint residue from the water.
By treating rinse water internally, you reduce the risk of improper disposal and keep control of how wastewater is processed in your workshop.

cost savings

Disposing of rinse water as waste can incur unnecessary costs, especially with daily use. With the AS50 A, you process rinse water directly on site, greatly reducing the amount of waste to be disposed of.
Combined with a water recycling pump, the purified water can be reused for cleaning tools. This reduces water consumption and operational costs.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AS50 flushing water system

Where is the AS50 A flushing water system used?

The AS50 A is used in workshops where work is done with water-based paints, varnishes, glues or inks and where smaller amounts of rinse water are generated. The system is suitable for cleaning tools such as brushes, rollers and smaller parts and fits well in environments where compact and orderly work is important.

How does the AS50 A work in practice?

The rinse water is collected in the integrated sink during tool cleaning. At the push of a button, the mixer is started and the rinse water is set in motion.
After the addition of the coagulant, the paint residues clump together to form flakes. These settle within minutes, after which the clear water is filtered. The sludge remains in the filter basket and dries further there, while the purified water is discharged or reused.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
