AS80

The Trivec AS80 is a user-friendly rinse water system for tool cleaning and environmentally friendly processing of rinse water. With a capacity of 80 liters, this plant offers 60 percent more processing space than the AS50 and is suitable for workshops that work with water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink on a daily basis.

The AS80 easily separates contaminated rinse water into clear water and sludge, effectively filtering paint residue from the water. With optional accessories such as a brush cleaner or roller cleaner, tools can be cleaned faster and more thoroughly, ensuring better end results and less material consumption.

Clean sewer

When cleaning brushes, rollers, and other tools, rinse water containing paint and varnish residues is produced. These residues should not be discharged untreated.
The AS80 rinse water system removes paint residues from the rinse water before it is discharged or reused. This reduces the load on the sewer system and helps you keep the rinse water process organized and manageable in the workshop.

Avoid fines

Workshops where rinse water is regularly generated must comply with wastewater discharge requirements. With the AS80, you can treat rinse water in a controlled manner, separating paint and varnish residues from the water.
By treating the rinse water on-site, you reduce the risk of improper disposal and maintain control over how wastewater is managed within your workshop.

cost savings

Disposing of rinse water can incur unnecessary costs, especially with daily use. With the AS80, you process rinse water directly on site, significantly reducing the amount of waste to be disposed of.
Combined with a water recycling pump, the purified water can be reused for cleaning tools. This reduces water consumption and provides structural savings in daily operations.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AS80 flushing water system

Where is the AS80 rinse water system used?

The AS80 is used in workshops where rinse water is regularly generated when cleaning tools. It is suitable for environments where water-based paints, varnishes, adhesives or inks are handled and where there is a need for more capacity than a compact entry-level solution. Thanks to its size and easy operation, the AS80 fits well into everyday use.

How does the AS80 work in practice?

When cleaning tools, the rinse water is collected in the built-in sink. With the push of a button, the faucets turn on and the rinse water begins to flow.
After adding the coagulant, the paint residues clump together to form flocs. The mixers stop automatically, after which the flocs settle. The clear water is filtered and drained or reused, while the sludge remains in the filter basket to dry further.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
