AC400

The AC400 industrial rinse water plant is designed for companies that process larger volumes of rinse water daily and need extra capacity and flexibility. This plant is suitable for processing rinse water contaminated with water-based paints, varnishes, adhesives or inks directly at the workplace.
Thanks to its modular design and semi-automatic operation, the AC400 is a stable and scalable solution for separating rinse water into clear water and sludge, fitting within existing and growing work processes.

Clean sewer

Intensive use of spray equipment and cleaning of tools and machine parts releases rinse water containing paint and varnish residues. These substances are not suitable for untreated disposal.
With the AC400 rinse water system, these paint residues are effectively removed from the rinse water before the water is discharged. This keeps the sewer system relieved and you maintain control of the wastewater flow within your workshop.

Avoid fines

Higher rinse water volumes also increase the risk of improper disposal. The AC400 makes it possible to process rinse water in a controlled and consistent manner, preventing paint and varnish residues from entering the environment untreated.
By controlling the wastewater process internally, you reduce the likelihood of problems during inspections and maintain control over how rinse water is disposed of.

cost savings

Disposing of large quantities of rinse water as chemical waste can be a significant expense. With the AC400, you process this waste stream directly on site, greatly reducing external disposal.
The treated water can be reused to dilute new batches of rinse water. This reduces both water consumption and operating costs, especially in continuous or serial use.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AC400 flushing water system

What is the AC400 flushing water system used for?

The AC400 is used in workshops where medium to large volumes of rinse water are generated daily. Think of cleaning spray equipment, tools and machine parts within paint shops, interior construction companies and industrial environments. The installation is suitable for wastewater streams with a higher degree of contamination and fits in well with intensive work processes.

How does the AC400 work in practice?

The AC400 works with a batchwise process in which rinse water is collected in the plant and then treated in the coagulation unit. With a few simple actions, the user starts the mixing process, where paint and varnish particles clump together and settle.
After filtration, clear water remains, which can be disposed of or reused within the process. Sludge remains and can be disposed of separately. The semi-automatic operation ensures a reliable and reproducible process, even for larger volumes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
