AS120

The Trivec AS120 is a spacious and user-friendly rinse water system for tool cleaning and environmentally friendly processing of rinse water. Thanks to its extra-wide design, this plant offers plenty of working space for cleaning rollers, brushes and spray tools. The AS120 is suitable for workshops where daily work with water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is carried out.

The AS120 easily separates contaminated rinse water into clear water and sludge, effectively filtering paint residue from the water. Combined with optional accessories, tools can be cleaned faster and more thoroughly, saving time and reducing material consumption on a daily basis.

Clean sewer

Intensive cleaning of tools produces rinse water containing paint and varnish residues. These residues should not be discharged untreated.
The AS120 rinse water treatment system removes paint residues from the rinse water before it is discharged or reused. This reduces the load on the sewer system and keeps the wastewater flow manageable within the workshop.

Avoid fines

Workshops where rinse water is generated daily must manage its disposal carefully. With the AS120, you can process rinse water in a controlled manner, separating paint residues from the water.
By treating the rinse water on-site, you reduce the risk of improper disposal and maintain control over the wastewater process within your organization.

cost savings

With daily and intensive use, disposal of rinse water can lead to increasing costs. With the AS120, you process rinse water directly on site, greatly reducing the amount of waste to be disposed of.
The purified water, in combination with a water recycling pump, can be reused for cleaning tools. This reduces water consumption and contributes to structural cost savings.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AS120 flushing water system

Where is the AS120 flushing water system used?

The AS120 is used in workshops where larger volumes of rinse water are generated daily when cleaning tools and spray equipment. It is suitable for environments where additional workspace is required and where higher capacity is needed than compact models. Thanks to its wide arrangement and easy operation, the AS120 fits in well with intensive daily use.

How does the AS120 work in practice?

When cleaning tools, the rinse water is collected in the built-in sink. With the push of a button, the mixing motors start and the rinse water begins to circulate.
After adding the coagulant, the paint residues clump together to form flocs. The mixers stop automatically, after which the flocs settle. The clear water is filtered and drained or reused, while the sludge remains in the filter basket to dry further.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
