AS50 Flushing Water System

The Trivec AS50 is a compact and user-friendly rinse water system designed for cleaning tools and the environmentally friendly treatment of rinse water. The system is suitable for workshops that work with water-based products such as paint, varnish, adhesive, and ink.

With the AS50, rinse water is easily separated into clear water and sludge, effectively filtering paint residue out of the water. This allows you to work in an environmentally conscious manner and manage the rinse water process right at your own worksite. Optional accessories, such as a roller cleaner or brush cleaner, allow you to clean tools quickly and thoroughly, resulting in reduced material consumption and time savings.

Clean sewer

When cleaning brushes, rollers, and other tools, rinse water containing paint and varnish residues is produced. These residues should not be discharged untreated into the sewer system.
The AS50 rinse water treatment system removes paint residues from the rinse water before it is discharged or reused. This prevents unnecessary strain on the sewer system and keeps your workshop clean and organized.

Avoid fines

Discharging contaminated rinse water can lead to problems during inspections and enforcement. With the AS50, you can treat rinse water in a controlled manner, separating paint residues from the water.
By treating rinse water on-site, you reduce the risk of improper disposal and maintain control over how wastewater is managed in your workshop.

cost savings

Disposing of rinse water as waste can result in unnecessary costs, especially with daily use. With the AS50, you can treat rinse water directly on-site, significantly reducing the amount of waste that needs to be disposed of.
When combined with a water recycling pump, the purified water can be reused for cleaning tools. This results in lower water consumption and reduced operating costs.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AS50 flushing water system

Where is the AS50 A flushing water system used?

The AS50 is used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, adhesive, or ink are used and where small amounts of rinse water are generated. The unit is suitable for cleaning tools such as brushes, rollers, and small parts, and fits well in environments where a compact and organized workspace is important.

How does the AS50 A work in practice?

The rinse water is collected in the integrated sink during tool cleaning. At the push of a button, the mixer is started and the rinse water is set in motion.
After the addition of the coagulant, the paint residues clump together to form flakes. These settle within minutes, after which the clear water is filtered. The sludge remains in the filter basket and dries further there, while the purified water is discharged or reused.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
