AS160

The Trivec AS160 is the largest compact rinse water plant within the series and offers plenty of working space for cleaning tools and larger machine parts. With a capacity of 200 liters per rinse, this plant is suitable for workshops where large volumes of rinse water are released daily, contaminated with water-based paints, lacquers, adhesives or inks.

With the AS160, contaminated rinse water is efficiently separated into clear water and sludge. The paint residues are filtered out of the water and the dry sludge can be disposed of as normal operating waste. Thanks to the spacious layout, there is plenty of room for accessories such as roller cleaners, brush cleaners and the cleaning of larger parts such as rollers.

Clean sewer

Cleaning larger quantities of tools and machine parts releases rinse water containing high concentrations of paint and varnish residues. These residues are not suitable for untreated disposal.
With the AS160 rinse water system, paint residues are removed from the rinse water before it is discharged or reused. This keeps the sewer system relieved and keeps control of the wastewater flow within the workshop.

Avoid fines

With larger rinse water volumes, controlled processing is especially important. The AS160 makes it possible to treat rinse water internally, separating paint residues from the water.
By properly setting up and self-managing the wastewater process, you reduce the risk of improper disposal and keep control of how rinse water is processed within your organization.

cost savings

Disposing of large amounts of rinse water can lead to high costs, especially with daily use. With the AS160, you process rinse water directly on site, greatly reducing the amount of waste to be disposed of.
In combination with a water recycling pump, the purified water can be reused for cleaning tools. This reduces water consumption and contributes to structural cost savings.

Advantages

About the Trivec Eco AS160 flushing water system

Where is the AS160 rinse water system used?

The AS160 is used in workshops where large volumes of rinse water are generated daily. Think of large-scale painting companies, paint shops, painting schools and serial interior construction. The system is suitable for situations where a lot of working space is required and where more compact models do not offer sufficient capacity.

How does the AS160 work in practice?

During cleaning of tools and machine parts, the rinse water is collected in the integrated sink. At the push of a button, the mixing motors are started and the rinse water is set in motion.
After the addition of the coagulant, the paint residues clump together to form flakes. The mixers stop automatically, after which the flakes settle. The clear water is filtered and discharged or reused, while the sludge remains in the filter basket where it dries further.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our installations, use and maintenance. So you know exactly what to expect before you get started.

How often should I change the water in my rinse water system?
In a rinse water plant, the water is not continuously replaced, but separated into clear water and sludge during each rinse. The purified water can be disposed of or reused for cleaning tools. How often you completely change the water depends on the use and degree of contamination.

During the cleaning process, a coagulant is added to the rinse water. This causes paint particles to clump together to form flakes. These flakes settle and remain in the filter basket as sludge, while the clear water is filtered and discharged or reused.
Maintenance of a rinse water plant is limited. In practice, this consists mainly of removing the dried sludge from the filter basket, checking the installation and topping up the coagulant in time. In normal operation, this is a simple and quick operation.
Rinse water systems are used in workshops where water-based paint, varnish, glue or ink is handled. Think of painting companies, paint shops, interior builders, educational institutions and other workshops where tools are regularly cleaned.
